As Tootie’s family and caregivers we went through the good and the bad experiences of her dialysis and transplant journey. Through these experiences we grew to know the particular needs of dialysis patients. It’s amazing how the little things in life are so precious when you are coping with a chronic illness. As a family we saw that this disease had an impact on every aspect of Tooties’ life; from her energy level to her emotions, her health & well-being and her finances.
